PS of Sweden Black Pioneer Bridle

Experience the difference with the Pioneer bridle. A bridle that helps the horse to stabilize the jaw and lies flat against the muzzle, thanks to the built-in shock-absorbing cushion. Adjust the height of the noseband and vary between a lower, dropped noseband function and a higher English noseband. By varying the height of the noseband, you can also switch between the different functions depending on the purpose.

NOSEBAND
The noseband´s height is adjustable in three positions for a guaranteed perfect fit. Thanks to this, the risk of the bit locking is minimized.
Additionally, the sensitive Infraorbital nerve at the horse's cheekbone is left free of pressure!

Thanks to the cross-sectional design of the noseband, the risk of the cheek pieces being too close to the eyes of the horse is minimized. In the noseband´s highest position, it works like an English noseband but with Pioneer's other benefits.

The noseband has raw hide on the inside to hold its shape and also features a built in soft pillow to increase the noseband's stability.

NECKPIECE
The area around the horse's neck behind the ears is a very sensitive area with many nerves and ligaments. To relieve pressure from the bridle, it has been developed that the headpiece is extra wide. The headpiece also has a cut-out at the top, which distributes pressure evenly and does not concentrate it in one spot. The headpiece is also cut to make room for the horse's ears, all to provide the highest possible comfort.

BROWBAND

The browband is U-shaped to prevent pressure on the horse's forehead and eye sockets. Today, all our browbands are equipped with a rubber-coated inside, called "anti-slip," which is designed to keep the browband in place and prevent it from slipping down. As if that were not enough, it also has the beloved Click-ItTM function, which allows you to easily remove and replace the browband as needed, even when the horse is wearing the bridle.


CHEEK PIECES
The cheek pieces have our patented selectable elastic Cradles™, which allows the bit to suspend in the horse’s mouth. This also helps to even the pressure across the neck. Our elastic Cradles™ are designed so you can easily hook them on and off.

The Pioneer bridle is made in eco-friendly vegetable tanned leather and is suitable for jumping, dressage and eventing. The bridle is approved for competition in all disciplines in Sweden and within the FEI. Remember to buy a throatlatch and attach it to your browband, and make sure to detach the vaggas during dressage competitions.
